Sometimes we have insects we can pick up by hand and the workers
do it as extra job, they go out, the whole family and pick as
many as they can, we pay by weight, and eliminate several kinds
of insects that are not harmful for them but are for the coffee.
Others we make products with: garlic, chili, cilantro, ruda,
neem, trees like madero negro, zapotillo, and others, and apply
them with backpack pumps.
This has been a school of try an error, it has taken us a long
time and a lot of money on mistakes, but we are very happy with
results, as we hardy, if any, use any kind of pesticide.
